“Stunning”
This place was honestly spectacular! From the moment you arrive on the property and step into the house, we just thought we made the right decision. It was very clean, the items provided around the house were well thought out and useful, and aesthetically the house was just very beautiful. I was surprised on how much kitchenware there was - huge pots and pans, different cutleries, popcorn maker, soda stream and lots of herbs and spices. They even left two bottles of wine and a box of chocolate in the fridge, with a kind handwritten note on the table. The house just felt very personalised. Right outside is the lake where you can kayak and chill around the fire pit. I would say the photos represents the house very accurately, and the house looks even better in person! Definitely value for money. If going during Winter was this nice, I can't imagine during Summer... Especially being so close to the beaches, 15 mins away from Hyams. Host was very responsive via AirBnB and via phone. We couldn't make it before 5pm and called the host up, and they were very kind to drop the keys off without hesitating.

Where to start? The best Airbnb I have stayed in to date! An immaculate home which has been beautifully decorated - attention to detail has not gone amiss. Stocked with everything you will need for a short or longer stay. Loved the personal touch of a welcome note as well as a box of chocolates and not one but two bottles of wine! Amazing view right on the water, with the kayaks being such a great addition! A fire pit for the cooler nights which we made use of as well. We were also given a late check-out which was greatly appreciated. Very sad to leave! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back. Once again, thank you!! :)
We had a great stay with our family, home was comfortable and had everything we needed. Wished we stayed longer.

We had such an enjoyable time at Adrift, we didn't want to leave. From the location by the lake, to a completely accommodating house inside - we were completely in our element. Relaxed, recovered and rejuvenated. Thank you, Peter and Veronica. Hope to see you again! Joe and Lucy.

We have booked this place for over 6 months waiting for the day we arrived with excitement on arrival. It was no doubt one of the best places to stay. It is very spacious with the options to go to the back of the house and canoe or simply sit down and relax. I would recommend people to stay here.
“Relaxing”
I booked this house for a weekend away with some friends and it definitely did not disappoint. We were welcome with a greeting card and some wine which was a beautiful touch. The house was clean, spacious and well equipped. The view was wonderful and so serene. Only minutes away from food stores for last minute requirements and a short drive to local cafes, beaches and shops. Would definitely stay at this house again. Thank you for a great stay!

When we arrived to Adrift we could not believe that would have been our home for the next 2 days. The house was incredible! Nicely decorated and with loads of amenities. It was spacious and easily fit us 14 girls. The house gets even more beautiful during the day as it faces a basin, we spent a lot of time in the space outside and it felt like a proper holiday. Hyams Beach is only 15 minutes away and there is a big IGA and bottle shop only 2 minutes away. We were very happy with everything and we will definitely recommend Adrift to our groups of friends looking to head out for the weekend.

“Amazing Place!”
This place was so perfect for our group of friends, all with young children. The decor, space and it being so clean. We loved the beautiful calm water that seemed so child friendly and the kayaks that were provided made the trip especially fun for the kids AND adults! We want to come and stay again for sure. Thank you , this getaway was perfect!

This property was stunning! Myself and 12 friends booked Adrift for the weekend and had the most relaxing and fun time. We spent the day time kayaking around the basin, swimming at Hyams Beach (which is a short drive away) and playing boardgames. At night time, we took advantage of the incredibly well equipped kitchen and BBQ area, where we cooked up a storm! We also used the bonfire pit to roast marshmallows, which is overlooking the waterfront- this with a cheese platter and wine in hand was heaveeeeen. I would absolutely recommend Adrift for large groups- particularly friends and families. The house was clean, spacious, relaxing and beautiful!

The photo doesn’t justify the place. Its much better than how it looks. Best place to stay for 14 people. Kitchen has everything necessary things. Beds so comfortable. More than enough blankets , towels, pillow and every daily kind of use in the house. Clean and new property. Best attraction is backyard, You have your own personal space for lake swim , kayaking, bonfire. Bathroom so clean and hot water all the time. Insulated heating and air conditioner.
“AMAZING”
Really enjoyed our stay at Adrift Retreat! The house was spacious enough for 2 large families, very clean and in a quiet location in front of a lake - it is not really a beach but still incredibly beautiful. We appreciated the small gifts in the fridge and the pantry that were stocked up with necessities! We especially enjoyed having the kayaks, and the bedroom pillows/blankets provided were so comfortable! Will definitely be recommending this house to others.

The house was impeccably clean and the nice design style and homewares made it even nicer to stay in. The owners were thoughtful in providing extras which made us feel very welcome and made the stay even more enjoyable - ie nice cushions, provisions in the kitchen, a nespresso machine even little gifts in the fridge! The location bordering the lake was great as we did water sports all weekend. It was nice to stay in a house that had enough space for 2 families without feeling cramped. We would definitely come again and recommend it to friends.
